Information you might find useful about you order / material. Ballasts Freight Claims Freight Carriers
Most manufactures of lighting fixtures will warrant the fixture, but not the ballast. Therefore, if you should have a ballast failure, and it's still under warranty, please contact the manufacture and they will be happy to get a replacement for you.
One of the most frequent problems on projects is freight that is missing or damaged. It is the responsibility of the person that signs for received material to inspect and note any and all problems before the delivery person leaves. You have heard the term "FOB (Freight On Board)- Factory". This term simply means that once the carrier picks up the material from the factory, the factory is no longer responsible for the material. The carrier assumes the responsibility to get that freight to you complete and in good condition. If they do not succeed, it is their responsibility to compensate you, or the party receiving the delivery for the value of the missing or damaged material. If you receive a shipment, stop and inspect the freight. If there is damage, note the damage and have the driver note it too. Promptly file a claim with the carrier, as most have a limited time window to file claims. In most cases, the manufacturer cannot file the claim! We realize this can be a time consuming process at times, but much of the hassle can be eliminated with prompt, well documented action with the carrier.
If you have received a shipping number or a "PRO" number from us, and want to track the progress of your freight, or need to know who to contact for making plans for the delivery of your order, please contact the carrier listed below.
